You're a Cool Friend

**Don't forget to enter the Whimsipost giveaway! Either scroll down to the next entry, or click here to see the giveaway!**

Hello everyone! I have a card to share with you for the current Lawnscaping Challenge - Winter Wonderland!

We had some very cold temperatures last week and an ice storm yesterday, so I am familiar with winter (maybe not the wonderland part...). I focused on the cold part of winter, and created this card:

This card features patterned paper from Pebbles's "Hip Hip Hooray" paper collection as well as Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs," and "Making Frosty Friends." I also added some diamond Stickles to the "cool" letters, but it is a little hard to see in the picture.

This card only measures 3''x3'' so I am also entering this into the Moxie Fab Challenge - Make an Itty Bitty Card. It is such a small space to work with!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Everything!

Morning everyone! I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend so far! I was asked to babysit some wonderful children yesterday and today I get to relax at home, so I would say that things are going well here!

How has the weather been in your area? Here it has been very, very cold and just yucky! So, I thought I would share a colorful card to brighten your day!

I am definitely enjoying the new washi tape! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Happy Everything," "A Birdie Told Me," and "Happily Ever After."

Well, I hope that brightened your day! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Many Thanks

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope that you are having a great weekend so far! Today I am putting away the Christmas decorations (a little too late?), making some coasters, and just relaxing at home. Yesterday, I attended an amazing concert called Winter Jam with a bunch of friends from church! Have you ever heard of it? It features 10 different Christian artists and it is awesome! We saw Toby Mac, Jason Castro, Sidewalk Prophets and a bunch of other bands. Jamie Grace is my new favorite singer! (You should definitely check out her music if you listen to Christian music!)

Anyways, I wanted to share a quick card with you today. This was another thank you card that I made after Christmas!

This card features various washi tapes by Recollection. I received some new colors for Christmas and I have enjoyed playing with them. The "many thanks" banner is one of Pebbles dimensional stickers.

Well, thanks for stopping by! Time to go watch the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game! Woo!! :)

Simple Thanks

Good morning everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend! I was able to see Les Miserables this weekend, and it was amazing! It is such a great story of forgiveness - plus there are some awesome songs! I had them stuck in my head for the rest of the weekend! You should definitely see the movie! :)

Anyways, I wanted to share a quick thank you card that I made a while ago. I meant to send this out after Christmas, but I completely forgot. Opps!

This card feature's some washi tape by Freckled Fawn and Recollections. The letters are corrugated letter stickers from American Crafts. They were originally tan but I didn't like how that looked, so I colored them black.

Well, off to work! I have some big things happening with work this week, so prayers for wisdom and calm nerves would be really appreciated. Enjoy your Monday! :)

2013 Calendar

Hello everyone! I feel so mixed up with my days this week! Having a Tuesday off from work just throws everything off! I keep thinking that I still have 3 days until the weekend, but thankfully it is much closer. Whew!

I wanted to share a project that I made a few months ago. Lawn Fawn shared a video from Chari which showed how she made her awesome calendar! (You can check out her calendar here and see her video here!)

My calendar is a little bit simpler than Chari's (did I mention that her's is amazing?!), but I really like it. I followed the directions in the video to create the base. Then I added the year with Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's 123s", attached it onto some pink paper and added some washi tape to the corners. To make the calendar pages, I found a calendar online, printed out the months, and attached it to smaller squares of pattern paper. I'm looking forward to using it this year! :)

Well, I hope that you have a good weekend! I think I am going to get my hair cut sometime this weekend. I hope it turns out how I imagine it! :) Bye!
